Park Sang-jun
Sang-jun “Babel” Park is from South Korea and an esports professional player currently signed to London Spitfire on the Overwatch roster. He was born on January 25, 2001 and is currently 19 years old.
Park has only been a professional esports player for a short time. He first competed professionally with BM Hawk from October 2018 to December 2019 when he moved to the London Spitfire esports team.This player takes a DPS role within the Overwatch roster and his signature heroes are Widowmaker, Mei and McCree. The current Overwatch line up for London Spitfire, representing London, UK, in the Overwatch League, consists of 12 players. The last four players Babel, ALTHOUGH, Jihun and Clestyn, were added on December 27, 2019. London Spitfire was created in August 2017 and is owned by Jack Etienne’s massive esports organization Cloud9.
In 2019, London Spitfire placed 7-8th in the Overwatch League – 2019 Playoffs but in July 2018 won 1st place in the Overwatch League – Inaugural Season Playoffs. The team also came 3rd in the OWL – Inaugural Season Stage 2 Title Matches in March 2018.
With the BM Hawk Overwatch roster, Park and his teammates came 1st in the ZOTAC Cup Overwatch Community Tournament #37 – Asia, 1st in the ZOTAC Cup Overwatch Community Tournament #33 – Asia, and 1st in the ZOTAC Cup Overwatch Community Tournament #27 – North America between May 2019 and September 2019. The team also placed 4th in the Open Division 2019 Season 2 – Korea in May 2019 and 2nd in the India Slam: Overwatch 6v6 in March 2019.
