Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson is the newest member of the Scandinavian Dignitas CSGO roster. The organisation announced on 7 March the move is in place, with Haris “H4RR3” Hadžić on the bench.

The roster move sees Lekr0 reunite with former Ninjas in Pyjamas ally Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, The used to play on NiP’s 2018-2020 roster. During that time, the NiP roster made somewhat of a resurgence, with NiP making it to the top eight Legends Stage of the FACEIT Major and more. However, the team began to fall off, resulting in him getting benched.

When his time on the bench expired, he went to North and competed on the roster. However, that roster failed to make anything fo note before the organisation disbanded at the start of 2021. The announcement is the first to come of the former North players finding a new home.

Lekr0 joining the team comes as the Dignitas has revealed the team is benching H4RR3 instead. The Norwegian joined the team in October 2020, alongside Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso. Unfortunately, the team seems to have not gone far under this new line-up, and things need to change.

The roster has so far failed to make a big splash. The team started off reuniting the former members of the legendary NiP roster from the early days of CS:GO. While the fan fair was great, reality soon set in that the team could no longer compete. Players like Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund has retired, with Richard “Xizt” Landström on the bench since September.

The roster has announced the move mere hours before they are set to return to competition. The Dignitas lineup competes in the Pinnacle Cup 2021 event, with its first match against the Czech team, Sinners, on 8 March. 100,000 USD is on the line. An event like this is one Dignitas wants to be a top contender, especially since they may encounter teams like FPX, Gambit, and more.
